About the Jenner Headlands Preserve
Located north of the town of Jenner where the Russian River meets the Pacific Ocean, and extending two-and-a-half miles along Highway 1 and inland toward Cazadero, this 5,630-acre coastal treasure has it all -- rich habitat for fish and wildlife, dramatic views, extensive opportunities for future recreation and a spectacular segment of the California Coastal Trail. Acquired by Sonoma Land Trust in 2009, it was transferred as planned to The Wildlands Conservancy in 2013 with full public access slated for fall 2018.
